About Sue: She was born a coal miner's daughter in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.
She is a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, with deep, family-oriented beliefs.
As an artist, Sue paints what she feels and believes. "Art is to help others enjoy memories and to
translate these memories into their own interpretations." Sue's love of art comes out in her paintings as a
wonderful revival of the past, the joy of the present and the hope for the future it awakens in each of us.
Sue hopes that each personal journey can be recalled and enjoyed by everyone. The older
we are the more we want to share our heritage with others. Sue's dream is to tell the history
of miners through art that can be passed on through generations.
